STEM Workshop with LEGO® Bricks | Term 2, 2018 | 7 May - 2 July | Monday Afternoons | Denistone East Students Only |

This class will be held at Denistone East Public School on Monday afternoons from 3:40pm - 4:40pm.  Class commences on Monday, 7th May, 2018. and will run until Monday, 2nd July (inclusive), 8 sessions (no class on Queen's Birthday 11th June). 


Bricks 4 Kidz uses our unique models to help children gain theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) while playing with LEGO®. 

This term, the theme is "Laws of Motion". Students will be introduced to what physics is, as well as the ‘Laws of Motion’ made famous by Sir Isaac Newton. Terms will be explored including inertia and mass, which will provide them with a foundation for understanding concepts that they will delve deeper into years to come. During this unit students will build models using LEGO® bricks to create a positive association that  science is fun! Models such as the motorised see-saw, the moving clock and the catapult model will be built to keep their minds and hands busy!
